The Last Few Months....

Sug turned 34 on March 26th!

The kids are never too old to decorate eggs :)

Or have a good old fashioned Easter egg hunt. Funny however that now they are more interested in getting the money eggs than the real eggs!

Our Brooklyn Girl :)

Sug's parents were able to come up to the house for Easter this year!

Our days and nights have been spent at the ball fields... here Brookie is pitching in a little league game! She is the only nine year old on her team....and actually the only nine year old playing majors this year!

Sis is playing on the Spartans this year for competitive league.

Hans is playing little league ~ although this picture is from a team that he was on.

Cassandra made it into National Honor Society.... she is currently holding a 3.7 GPA :)

Hans catching in a game :)

Vegas

As everyone probably knows... Someone in our family refuses to get on an airplane thus for spring break we had to go somewhere relatively close to the house.... so we decided to go to Las Vegas. No, we haven't lost our minds... but we were always the type that swore we would never take our kids to that town!
We actually had a wonderful time and the kids loved it. There is actually quite a bit of things to do with the kids. We stayed away from walking the strip as much as possible to avoid those "dirty streets" but in all reality it is a way of life for some people and we can't live in a bubble and think that our kids are totally immune. We did do a few fun things like zip-line over Fremont street at night, saw the Jabbawockeez and Blue Man Group, ate with no silverware at the Tournament of Kings, rode roller coasters and rides, and ate way too many M&M's!!! We stayed at the NYNY hotel and must say that their arcade was great and they have two Starbucks inside!!!!

The whole group at NYNY :)

Hans and Brookie at Ben & Jerry's!

Sis was the big winner at the arcade in the Excalibur!

Outside of NYNY

Zip-line over Fremont street... this was so much fun! Bryson was scared to death (he has major height issues) and was pushed off by the worker because he wouldn't go. At about this point you can see that he relaxed (his legs hanging down) and he was like "this isn't that bad"! The girls loved it and I did too....except they tightened my harness too much!!!!!

The new thing in Vegas... tons of people dressed up and taking pictures for tips. Why are my kids always doing weird faces and putting their thumbs up????

Sug and I in front of the waterfalls at the Flamingo. We have pictures from our wedding, thirteen years ago at the exact same spot!

I made the kids smile and not make weird faces for this picture inside the Venetian!

Inside the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace ~ a wonderful place to shop!

Roller Coaster riders.... and "yes" I did get on once but that was it! Bryson would not go... but finally mustered up the courage to later get on!

Fury in St. George

Bryson #22

On base...

Batting...

Catching.

Just a side note... these pants are now "practice" pants as this damn red clay/dirt did not come out!

Is it possible that I got a picture with my child moving and it isn't blurry? :)

Look at that red dirt... I told you!

Kyle, Jared, Hans and Kaden waiting patiently for their In-N-Out burgers :)

Cassandra was a good sport and watched all of the games.

Brookie and her friend Bridget were sooooo not interested in the games this weekend!
Over President's Day weekend, we went to St. George, Utah for Bryson's baseball tournament. They didn't actually do that well .... they went 1-3, however they weren't that far out of game 2 or game 4 ~ thus we think that they improved with each game! We had a ton of fun, St.George was surprisingly a neat little town. All was well until the next picture:

Yep, Hans got hit in the nose as he was sliding into second base and the catcher threw the ball to get him out. Our main question is: Bryson plays football (full-contact) and has for four years yet seems not to get hurt. Basketball for three years (which has a little contact) - still not hurt. He plays baseball (very minimal contact) for one solid year and has fractured his elbow and now has a broken/messed up his nose :(
What gives?????  :)

Super Bowl Party

Dad in his magic chair.... but we did do a lot of decorating! Well I guess I should say the kids did :)

We were laughing that Dad went in his truck to Subway with the balloons still attached... and they actually made it!

This was made specifically for Sug, Cody and Bryson... I never got my money either. :(

Baby Girl and I... she doesn't have the Unkle down yet, but does have Punk :) As everyone knows, I am Unkle Punk.

Lots of Treats and Eats! P.S. Yes, I wore my Peyton jersey on purpose!

Tons of fun!

Does it make us bad people that we didn't care that the Bears or Colts weren't in the Super Bowl... we still celebrated like they were. I wore my Manning jersey, we had cookies made and even decorated with Bears and Colts balloons. I hate the Patriots and was happy that Baby Manning won! We had so much fun at Dad & Niter's ~ we got to visit and eats tons of goodies! We had several football pools going on... and I did win $500 :) Thank you for letting us PARTY at your house!!!! Next year, the Colts will make it to the BIG DANCE!!!! :)
